Evaluation Question 3

Videos above take approximately 40 seconds to load.

Webpage
Typical conventions of an artist webpage are, large clear title as artists name so audiences know whos webpage it is, fonts are clear so easy to read, on the left and right hand side there are usually navigation tools to help navigate around the webpage. Most artist websites have links to the there Facebook and twitter pages so that fans can follow and interact with the artist with ease. Most websites have links to there pages on the site that give information about the artist and there music.

First Draft

My first draft was a simple design so I can get an idea of what I want my webpage to look like, I only created one draft as I had a good idea of what I wanted my webpage to look like and it was a nice easy format so the webpage viewers have access to everything easily. Using this I created my webpage(see below) I got very little criticism from it which I changed easily. One thing I was told to change was the order of the Digipack and Video. Originally the first thing you would see was the Video and then scroll down to the Digipack. However, from the feedback it was suggested that I swap this around so the first thing we see is the Digipack because it gives an introduction to the music that follows it. Therefore I changed the order and it did look better this way.

Final Digi-Pack

Click to view full sized image

As I changed my artist I decided to produce a new Digi-pack that represents Chiraags music better. As he is pianist I included the image of him playing the Piano on the back cover, and On the front cover I put an image of him in the forest performing pyramids. I decided to keep it simple and relaxed as that is the way I want my artist to portrayed.
